Batting Cage Practice

 

 

To prepare for the writing test given in April, begin

practicing now:  Write one example of each sentence

three to five times a week.

To prepare for the reading test given in April, read at least ten minutes four days a week.  Reading a library book does not count; everyone has received a list of genres to read to prepare themselves for the test.

 

To prepare for the writing test given in April, practice incorporating similes, metaphors, alliteration, personification, and onomatopoeia into the sentences.

 

To prepare for the reading test given in April, practice reading the twenty genres four to seven times each week for approximately ten minutes each session.

 

 

Reading takes practice to become a better reader.
