Government: How do they run, and how did their history change it?
Religion: What are the major belief systems, and where did they start?
Supplies: 1 single subject spiral notebook (or composition notebook), pencils or ink pens.
The grading scale will be as follows:
Below 60 F
Grades will be based on in-class assignments, bellwork, quizzes, and tests. Late work will not be accepted without a penalty. Missed quizzes and tests must be taken before the absence or as soon as the student returns. Any tests, quizzes, or assignments not made up in a reasonable time period, as defined by Mrs. Whitehead, will result in a “0”.
I will take a bellwork grade at the end of every week. Bellwork questions must be answered in a complete sentence to be counted as “Correct.” It is the student’s responsibility to get all bellwork questions completed before they are graded at the end of the week, even for days that they were absent.
Follow directions the FIRST time they are given, and thereafter
